5. For the purposes of AIFMD Greencoat Renewables PLC is an Irish Alternative Investment Fund and Greencoat Capital LLP is its Alternative Investment Fund Manager. Greencoat Capital LLP has notified the FCA, having received approval from the FCA, of the marketing of the Ordinary Shares in Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom in accordance with the regime laid down in the AIFMD but has not sought regulatory clearance to market the shares in any other Member State of the European Union.
